SPOT CLEANING
Spotting Chart General Spotting Chart & Procedures
A SCOOP up any solid matter first. B BLOT up as much liquid as possible using a clean, white absorbent towel or paper towels. C CLEAN with the appropriate treatment from the Cleaning Guide (below). NOTE: All cleaning agents should be tested in an inconspicuous area of the rug before use. To test, apply cleaning agent to a white cotton cloth (not directly to the rug) and blot inconspicuous area on the rug to make sure color of rug does not transfer to the cloth. If color appears, call a cleaning professional for assistance.
Remember: To avoid spreading the spot, work from the outside in toward the center. DO NOT RUB or SCRUB – this will causing fuzzing of the fiber.

Cleaning Guide: See Chart and start with Step 1 and proceed to Step 2 and 3 if necessary.
